Sangria is a wonderfully talented and intelligent horse who has been started correctly in every aspect. He is able to lope beautiful circles, pick up leads on both sides, and is learning to turn around, walk, trot, stop, and move off of leg cues. He has had plenty of riding experience outside, such as gathering cattle and going through water, and remains levelheaded at all times.
He has been ridden in various settings, including downtown areas, city trails, mountains, and arenas. His ground manners are exceptional, as he is easy to catch, can be kept in a stall or pasture, handles tying and cross tying well, bathes, trailers, and is comfortable riding alone or with other horses. He does not become overexcited or agitated easily. He has been introduced to the dummy and has been tracking slow cattle in the arena. He has even been in the branding pen, proving to be very calm and well-behaved. He is also gentle on the ground, easy for the farrier to handle, and is kept up to date on shots and worming. He has great feet, clean legs, and is in excellent health.
This gelding has a fantastic disposition, making him suitable for a variety of disciplines. He has the potential to excel in barrel racing, roping, and ranch work. Sangria is also well-bred, coming from a long line of high-quality pedigree. His papers are available upon request. At approximately 15 hands and around 5 years old, he is the perfect size for many riders. He is currently located in Gerber, California, and shipping can be arranged.
